This is Me

Lately I've been working with the Just Ice Cold Creative Group, a small, startup, game design group of amaizingly creative folks. Initially, the characters were for the yet to come RPG game, Pandora's Tomorrow. I can't show any images yet, but I will update this page as that project is released.

The group has started another game that needs different characters, so I'm working on those as well. Initially they were supposed to be simple figures, but now they've grown into a bit more complicated "aliens in mechanical suites and machanical robots." In the mean time, you can see the rejects in "Things that I'm Doing".

I've also enjoyed doing illustration and logos for various groups. Painting an drawing being my initial calling, I love working in Illustrator and Photoshop to create new images. My Illustrator files have so many layers but then I am creating vector images from scratch. It is good to know that I am getting faster. Sometimes the ideas come into my head faster than I can illustrate them. Other times I'm stuck as to how to resolve a new idea and then it is sketches, sketches, sketches on good o'l paper.

I had to get new sketch pads, but I guess that I was a little surprised to hear the kids that came to visit during the Christmas week, love thumbing through my little sketch book. To me it was just a tool. To them, it was something to fight over and look at in wonderment. That was very gratifying!
